MassageSports massage is used in the recovery and repair of sports injury. It can also be used as a preventative measure as well as to enhance performance.

Once freed from scar tissue, muscle fibres move in the correct manner, at the correct speed.

Post event massage will prevent scar tissue building up and muscles becoming sore. Also the rest period before more exercise will be reduced.

Lack of tension

Massage and stretching helps to relax muscles so they are less prone to pull injuries. The only tension produced is by the sports person.

Increased muscle flexibility

Static and assisted stretching techniques extend the muscle length and flexibility beyond normal working range. Under extreme competition conditions the likelihood of injury is decreased as the muscles are not being pulled to their full potential.
